We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with residential projects by performing a variety of tasks, including site preparation, material handling, demolition, framing assistance, and general cleanup. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to work well with others.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with construction, remodeling, and repair projects.
- Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and building materials.
- Prepare and clean construction sites before, during, and after projects.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist carpenters, equipment operators, and supervisors as needed.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials under supervision.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous construction experience preferred, but not required.
- Basic carpentry and construction skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule:
- Full-time
- Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
