Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting
- Support carpentry activities including framing, trim carpentry, formwork construction, and metal stud framing
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to carry out tasks like rebar installation, concrete cutting, and masonry work
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans
- Assist with installation of hardscape features, roofing components, stucco, plastering, caulking, and flooring installation
- Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools
- Knowledge of lroofing, restoration work, tile laying, drywall installation, and plastering processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique
- Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times
- Skilled in working on diverse construction projects including commercial buildings, renovations, or restorations
