Spacious Skies Campgrounds is a growing collection of campgrounds across the eastern United States, welcoming RVers, tent campers, cabin guests, and glampers from all walks of life. Since 2021, we’ve been redefining outdoor hospitality and creating welcoming camping experiences for all.
We are seeking an energetic Campground Activities & Guest Services Associate to help lead campground activities, recreation programs, events, and crafts while supporting guest services and the camp store.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with guests, leading family activities, and creating memorable campground experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Campground Activities & Recreation
Plan and lead campground activities, recreation programs, and family activities for guests of all ages
Host activities such as:
- Tie-dye crafts
- Slime making
- Bingo
- Trivia
- Family games and seasonal activities
Assist with setup and support for campground events such as live music and gatherings. Encourage guest participation and maintain a fun, welcoming environment. Assist with setup, supply preparation, and cleanup for activities and crafts
Guest Experience & Camp Store
- Greet guests and assist with campground check-in
- Provide basic campground orientation including amenities, activity schedules, and events
- Assist guests with questions, directions, and local recommendations
- Process camp store purchases and maintain organized displays
- Help keep activity supplies, craft materials, and store inventory stocked
Team & Operational Support
- Communicate with campground team members to support activities, recreation programs, and events
- Assist with light operational tasks across the campground as needed
- Help maintain activity areas, recreation spaces, and gathering areas
- Support campground family activities and guest engagement initiatives
Qualifications
- Customer service, hospitality, recreation, camp, or event experience preferred
- Comfort leading group activities, crafts, or family activities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Bilingual (Spanish or French) a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Working Conditions
This role involves guest interaction, activity leadership, recreation programming, and retail support. Many campground activities, crafts, recreation programs, and events are conducted outdoors, requiring comfort working in varying weather conditions. Weekend shifts and peak-season schedules are common.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to assist with activity, craft, and event setup
