The Senior Systems Engineer/Architect defines, designs, implements, and maintains IT Infrastructure system enhancements (software and hardware) that will improve the performance, security, and reliability of our corporate IT Infrastructure. Coordinate IT Systems activities with IT Network, Applications, Security, and Telecom Teams, other corporate business area support personnel, to design, implement, and support secure, reliable, performant solutions in support of business initiatives. Work with external vendors, suppliers, and other authorized external entities to facilitate secure and reliable collaboration with systems and technologies outside of our corporate environment as needed to support authorized business initiatives.
The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.
Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP). OSI also offers comprehensive benefits including various options for health plans, access to 401(k) retirement plan, health savings account, disability insurance, life insurance, AD&D insurance, leave of absence programs and an array of voluntary benefits. - For training, the Sr. Systems Engineer Architect will need to work daily onsite in Snoqualmie, WA. Once acclimated, this role will move to a hybrid work model; 3 days per week onsite and 2 days per week remote.***
- Design and implement system backup procedures and processes in accordance with the disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Work with executive team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
- Ensure secure, reliable, performant system operation of all servers, shared software, groupware, and other applications.
- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
- Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
- Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.
- Research software and systems products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
- Mentor and assist other Systems Team and IT Team members as needed.

- Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
- High School Degree or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in I.T. or related field is desired.
- 8 years’ experience administering Active Directory, GPO, multi-forest, multi-domain, ADFS, and SSO required.
- 8 years of scripting and automation experience required.
- 8 years’ experience managing DNS domains, certificate management, and PKI required.
- 8 years’ experience hands-on with Dell servers, Cisco UCS, or similar enterprise hardware.
- 8 years’ experience in SAN administration, boot from SAN (preferably HPE storage).
- 5 years’ experience with AWS (AWS Certification is a plus).
- 5 years’ experience managing Office 365, Microsoft Exchange, email protection, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- 3 years’ experience managing Azure infrastructure and application integration services.
- Experience administering Linux operating systems preferred.
- Experience implementing and managing controls for security standards, ITAR, FIPS, CUI, and NIST preferred.
- Must be able to work global hours as needed.
- Experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
