Production Lead – Fabrication – Lead with Skill, Build with Purpose
Are you an experienced fabricator who thrives in a leadership role? In this position, you’ll guide a skilled team in producing high-quality weldments while ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision every step of the way. Your leadership and technical expertise will play a key role in delivering products that meet exact specifications and exceed customer expectations.
What You’ll Do
You’ll lead daily fabrication operations while staying hands-on in the work and supporting your team’s success.
- Interpret and guide the team in reading blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate layouts and weldments
- Operate and support the use of welding equipment, grinders, saws, and precision measuring tools
- Lead, motivate, and support team members while effectively delegating tasks and resolving challenges
- Monitor production goals, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to maintain quality and efficiency
- Manage tools, materials, and workflow to keep production running smoothly
- Train, mentor, and develop team members through onboarding, coaching, and performance management
- Maintain a customer-first mindset, ensuring all products meet quality standards and delivery timelines
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical training through vocational school, community college, or hands-on experience
- 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- 5 years of welding and fabrication experience
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes, tools, and blueprint reading
- Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and drive results
