EHS Manager

A global distribution company is distribution company is seeking an EHS Manager for their Twinsburg, OH area site. Reporting into the Regional Senior EHS Manager, this position will play a key role in driving positive EHS culture changes, program and process improvements in the region.

The Role

• Monitor and measure EHS performance metrics, and utilize these to identify trends, areas for improvement, and propose related improvement programs/projects accordingly
• Develop and implement corrective actions
• Collect & analyze safety data to identify areas of improvement and safety trends.
• Develop and lead improvements to relevant areas of the EHS program such as audits, investigations, management systems, corrective action deployment, and training
• Promote a strong EHS culture throughout the facility
  
  

The Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
• 5 years of relevant EHS experience, within manufacturing, construction, or distribution environments
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and ISO standards
• Ability to effectively communicate and influence on EHS strategies
• Professional certification (ASP, CSP, SMP, CHST, etc.) preferred
