What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gardener position at Sozo Companies Inc?
Execute core flower tasks and techniques according to Sozo’s SOPs and Management Instruction in a conscientious and skillful manner.
Core flower tasks and techniques include, but are not limited to, trellising, training, defoliating, pruning, cleaning, and harvesting.
Completing tasks based on expectations and deadlines set by the management team.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment to mitigate potential pest problems and facilitate an organized and efficient workflow.
Keep all equipment clean and sanitized.
Attend weekly cultivation staff meetings and workshops.
Check email multiple times daily. Employ email as much as possible to communicate with co-workers.
Regularly check and interact on Sozo’s SLACK platform to best communicate with the garden team about all information pertinent to specific areas of cultivation.
Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
Wear provided uniform, at all times, unless directly instructed otherwise.
Comply with all laws and regulations pertinent to cannabis cultivation and all attendant activities including, but not limited to, those of the Michigan Licensing and Regulation Authority, Michigan Department of Agriculture, EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
