Our client is an established and growing company operating within a manufacturing and distribution environment. They are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
This role reports directly to ownership and offers the opportunity to play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day accounting operations and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare journal entries and manage the month-end close process
- Produce monthly and annual financial statements
- Handle full-cycle Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage quarterly California sales tax filings
- Maintain accuracy within the Sage system
- Provide timely financial insights and reporting to leadership
Qualifications
- 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Sage (MAS90 / Sage 100) experience required
- Strong understanding of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Experience with sales tax filings
- Proficiency in Excel and standard business systems
- High attention to detail and accountability
Preferred Background
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or product-based businesses
- Experience with inventory or job costing
- Background supporting small or owner-led organizations
