Sovereign Acquisitions, LLC is seeking a Roman Catholic Religious Education Coordinator to support and deliver faith-based education services in the Killeen, TX area. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for coordinating and delivering Roman Catholic religious education programs in collaboration with clergy, volunteers, parents, and community stakeholders.
The Coordinator will lead day-to-day program execution, instruction, and volunteer support while operating within established program guidelines and schedules.
- Develop, implement, and deliver Roman Catholic religious education lesson plans and instructional materials
- Coordinate sacramental preparation and faith formation programs in alignment with Catholic teachings and traditions
- Train, support, and supervise volunteers and instructors involved in religious education activities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for students, parents, clergy, and community partners
- Organize and support religious education events, classes, and related community activities
- Maintain program documentation, schedules, and attendance records as required
- Ensure program delivery aligns with organizational, contractual, and faith-based expectations
- Demonstrated experience in religious education, teaching, or faith formation, preferably within a Roman Catholic setting
- Strong lesson planning and curriculum development skills
- Working knowledge of Roman Catholic doctrine, traditions, and sacramental practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience training, coordinating, or mentoring volunteers or instructors
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Education, or a related field OR equivalent relevant experience
- Prior experience working with parishes, dioceses, or faith-based educational programs
- Experience coordinating programs involving multiple stakeholders
- Comfort working within structured program requirements and schedules
- Ability to work on-site in Killeen, TX
- Willingness to support occasional evening or weekend activities as required by program schedules
- Commitment to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and faith-centered educational environment
