Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Childcare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to children's developmental needs, including literacy education, math, and physical education.
- Plan and execute daily lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods, preschool activities, and early intervention strategies.
- Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
- Support children with special needs by integrating inclusive practices and collaborating with specialists in special education.
- Monitor and assess children's progress through observations and standardized testing; adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through clear communication skills and regular updates on child welfare.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes learning and safety.
- Assist with classroom management duties such as supervising activities, guiding social interactions, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education best practices.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and Montessori methods preferred.
- Background in special education or early intervention is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and child welfare standards.
