Southwoods Health is seeking a patient-focused Medical Receptionist for our Primary Care office in Austintown. This role is the face of our practice, ensuring every patient receives a professional, proactive, and welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Access: Manage registration, check-in, and check-out processes.
- Financials: Collect co-pays and perform insurance verification.
- Scheduling: Coordinate follow-up appointments and provide post-visit instructions.
- Communication: Perform telephone triage and facilitate provider instructions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient flow.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Medical receptionist experience preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and medical terminology.
- Traits: Exceptional customer service, high attention to detail, and a professional demeanor.
- Aptitude: Strong problem-solving skills and a cooperative, team-oriented attitude.
Schedule:
- Part-time (21 hours/week)
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00am-3:30pm.
