Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Pediatric Physical Therapist located in Bennington, Vermont. The Pediatric Physical Therapist candidate is skilled therapist who possess advanced knowledge and skills in pediatric development and disorders, enabling them to address the unique needs of the pediatric population. The pediatric therapist may work with children who have congenital disabilities, developmental delays, or acquired conditions through illness or injury. In consultation with the referring provider, the Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, developing and implementing an individualized treatment plan that utilizes exercises, play and therapeutic activities to help children reach their maximum potential, ensuring they can participate in everyday activities at home and in their community.
This position has the opportunity to supervise physical therapist assistants and students. A weekend fair turn commitment in our inpatient department is required. Qualifications
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school required or Doctorate is required for new grads.
- Prior physical therapy experience preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply.
- A Vermont State license to practice physical therapy is required on hire.
- Health Care Provider BLS within 90 days of hire
- current CPR certification required.
Salary : $40 - $55
