Role Description
SVMC is seeking a physical therapist to see patients in our inpatient department at the hospital located in Bennington, VT. In consultation with the referring provider, the Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, developing, implementing, and documenting a plan of treatment for patients recovering from illness, injury or surgery. Your expertise will directly influence patient outcomes, helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain and return to the activities that matter most to them.
A weekend fair turn commitment in our inpatient department is required. In addition, this position has the opportunity to supervise physical therapist assistants and students. - Requirements:
- MS degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school required. DPT is required for new grads.
- Prior physical therapy experience preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply.
- A Vermont State license to practice physical therapy is required on hire.
- Health Care Provider BLS within 90 days of hire
- current CPR certification required.
Salary : $40 - $55
