What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parents as Teachers Educator position at Southwestern Community College?
LOCATION - CRESTON, IOWA
Individual will assist the Early Childhood Program Director (ECE) in fulfilling the goals and objective of the ECE Parents as Teachers program by providing family support and parent education to parents in the communities of Union and Adams County.
This is a full-time position with benefits. Review of applications will begin upon receiving qualified applicants and will continue until the position is filled.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in early childhood, human development and family studies, education, health, or related field. Experience as a home visitor/parent educator AND possess a Home Visitor Credential or National Family Support Professional Certification preferred.
