What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Litigation Attorney position at Southwest Search?
We are actively recruiting an Associate Attorney to join an International Law Firms Business Litigation practice in the Dallas office. This position offers the opportunity to practice in all phases of general commercial, civil and business litigation matters with a national and international client base.
Candidates should have a steady background and prior experience in complex commercial litigation such as consumer or shareholder class actions, merger and acquisition litigation, securities litigation, corporate governance disputes, real estate financing and development disputes, product liability litigation, and/or multi-district or multi-forum litigation.
Successful candidates will have:
- An active membership in the Texas bar
- Three to six years of law firm experience in a litigation-based practice with particular emphasis on litigation procedure, including the discovery process and e-discovery
- Deposition, hearing and oral argument experience is a plus
- Excellent academic credentials as well as strong organization skills
- Writing and analytical skills are required
