Objectives of this Role:
- Manage and enhance environmental programs.
- Ensure the Division's activities are performed sustainably and in compliance with environmental regulations
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Perform environmental impact assessments for projects.
- Develop and implement conservation and sustainability initiatives.
- Serve as lead resource for Division’s ISO 14001 program.
- Oversee waste disposal and recycling programs.
- Coordinate environmental spill response and cleanup procedures.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections pertaining to compliance with environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- 2-7 years: Experience in managing environmental programs and initiatives.
- 1-7 years: Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.
- 1-7 years: In-depth knowledge of local and federal environmental regulations (e.g., TCEQ, EPA).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
