Role
Objectives of this Role:
- Develop and maintain detailed engineering drawings and models for pressure vessels, structures, and mechanical systems.
- Apply ANSI Y14.5 GD&T standards to ensure parts are fully defined and manufacturable.
- Execute and maintain engineering change processes, including incorporation of redlines and revision control.
- Ensure drawings and models align with fabrication, inspection, and quality requirements. Apply ANSI Y14.5 GD&T standards to ensure parts are fully defined and manufacturable.
- Work directly with engineers to clarify design intent and resolve technical questions.
- Create and revise 2D drawings and 3D models using Creo and SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and quality teams to resolve design and documentation issues.
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent or an Associates degree in Computer Aided Design or related field.
- 4 years: Creating detailed mechanical drawings in a production or engineering environment.
- 4 years: Proficiency in Creo and/or SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drawing generation.
- 2 years: Familiarity with fabrication processes (machining, welding, inspection).
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
