Position summary:
The Manager of Budget, Reimbursement, and Compliance is responsible for overseeing the health system’s budgeting process, reimbursement activities, and compliance with governmental financial regulations, including cost reporting and tax filings. The Manager provides leadership oversight to the budget, reimbursement, and compliance process within the fiscal division; serves as a liaison to internal and external auditors and government agencies; and ensures timely and accurate production of budgets, cost reports, reimbursement analyses, and other operational and strategic financial reports. The Manager also oversees the development and monitoring of the annual operating budget and partners with the revenue cycle to analyze reimbursement processes and results. The position reports to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. Master’s degree preferred
Required length and type of experience: Minimum three years of managerial experience in finance and accounting, preferably in healthcare or a similar regulated industry.
Required licensure, certification or registry: CPA Preferred
