What This Role Owns
The GSM is responsible for total sales performance — new, used, F&I collaboration, inventory strategy, and team development. This is not a desk manager role. This is a leadership role that sets the tone, raises the standard, and delivers results.
You will:
- Drive aggressive new and used sales targets
- Maximize front-end and back-end gross
- Hold managers accountable to daily activity and KPI standards
- Build and develop a high-performing sales management team
- Create urgency around leads, appointments, and follow-up
- Manage inventory turn and aging with precision
- Protect and elevate CSI performance
- Recruit top talent and move out underperformers

- Deep understanding of Ford programs and performance metrics (preferred)

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years automotive sales management experience (Ford experience strongly preferred)
- Proven track record managing a high-volume dealership sales operation
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Expertise in desking, inventory management, and gross profit optimization
- Deep understanding of CRM systems, digital retailing, and lead conversion strategies
- Strong financial acumen and analytical ability
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
