Southwest Construction is seeking an Entry-Level Safety Representative to join our team and support our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in construction safety. This role will assist with promoting safety awareness, supporting jobsite safety efforts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with conducting jobsite safety visits and audits
- Support safety meetings, toolbox talks, and new hire orientations
- Help identify and report unsafe conditions and behaviors
- Assist in accident and incident investigations and documentation
- Maintain and organize safety records, training logs, and reports
- Accompany safety inspections and walkthroughs when needed
- Help ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures
- Assist in developing and distributing jobsite safety plans
- Support communication between field employees and the safety team
- Promote a positive safety culture across all jobsites

Job Requirements
- Bilingual in English & Spanish – Preferred
- 0-5 years of construction or safety-related experience
- OSHA 30 certification up to OSHA Course 500 (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to jobsites
