What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Dispatcher position at Southwest Construction?
Southwest Construction is seeking an experienced Dispatcher to join our team!
The ideal applicant will have a strong work ethic, organizational skills, and a desire to be a team player. Additionally, the applicant should have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Dispatching role.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receive incoming calls in a professional manner
- Coordinate schedule with the customer, sales, and field personnel
- Verifying schedule with customers daily
- Coordinate delays in schedule with customers, sales, and field personnel
- Work with the sales team to provide excellent service to our customer
- Distribute supplies to field personnel as needed
- Will be on-call after normal business hours 1 week/Month
Skills & abilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Problem Sensitivity - ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong
- Provide accurate and timely information to management
- Basic computer competencies & Microsoft office
- Spanish Speaking highly preferred
