Responsibilities

• Confer with patients and their families to determine type of care needed and goals of therapy.
• Use psychotherapy, group therapy, or other modes of counseling to treat children and adolescents who are experiencing behavioral, emotional disturbance and mental health problems.
• Provide behavioral health services to children and adolescents in the school and outpatient environment.
• Assist in crisis situations to include hospital placement for individuals as needed.
• Educate the family unit on how best to assist the children and adolescent being served.
• Work collaboratively with the In-Home team and Care Coordinator to maximize the behavioral health of the children/adolescents served.

Position Requirements:

• Must have a Master degree in counseling or behavioral health field.
• Eligible for hire during an approved internship with an accredited institution under approved conditions.

• Agency can provide supervision for licensure.
• NHSC approved site. Program provides student loan repayment for qualifying staff.
• Agency provides travel pay for all travel in your personal vehicle away from your home office base and also has agency vehicles for any consumer transport needs.

Pay: From $41,900.00 per year
