Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our two person In Home team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality mental health services. This role involves working with children, adolescents, and families to address various psychological and emotional challenges, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each client in thier home, school, and community settings.
Duties
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to support clients in their mental health journey.
- Utilize various therapeutic approaches, including psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis.
- Provide specialized counseling services addressing gender issues, addiction, depression, anxiety, and other behavioral health concerns.
- Document client progress and treatment plans accurately in compliance with medical documentation standards.
- Implement creative therapeutic techniques to enhance client engagement and expression.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all client interactions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Must be willing to travel in the surrounding area with a partner to provide services in the home, school, and community setting.
- Experience in behavioral health settings preferred.
- Proficiency in individual/group counseling techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training in relevant therapeutic modalities.
