The Licensed Practical Nurse responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing direct patient care in accordance with the Minnesota state, federal, and facility guidelines
• Supervising CNAs
• Medication Administration
• Wound care and treatment
• Providing general nursing care to residents in accordance with the facility's nursing policy and procedures
• Addressing problems identified in the resident’s care plan for RN Nurse review
  
  
  

Qualifications & Skills Of Licensed Practical Nurse

• Current and active license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy
• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, residents, families, and professional/regulatory agents
