B2B Client Account Manager for SouthStar Capital

Looking for Account Manager with finance experience working with and nurturing established Clients

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain excellent client relationships via quality customer service
  • Deliver timely responses, and follow-up in response to client requests
  • Maintain a clear picture of client’s business regarding of future credit increases
  • Help clients with basic product related questions and troubleshoot scenarios
  • Serve as the liaison between clients and the SouthStar's management and underwriting team
  • Follow up with clients to gather additional information
  • You can multi-task and love helping our clients succeed
  • Perform invoice verification and/or debtor notifications
  • Update SouthStar systems in accordance with operational guidelines
  • Be a client advocate when called upon, providing SouthStar decision makers with additional data points
  • Stay alert for suspicious client behavior 
  • Prior experience as an Account Manager is preferred
  • Financial acumen and strong ethics are important
  • Dependable, positive, and detail-oriented follow-through are necessary
  • Manage the risk and profitability of an assignment client base (not a sales oriented position).

  • Strong decision-making, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to deal well with ambiguity and maintain composure in unfamiliar situations
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate with keyboarding skills and competency with Microsoft Office
  • Friendly, superb client orientation
  • Able to quickly learn new systems and adapt rapidly
  • Self-motivated, and positive
  • Bachelor’s degree Preferred

Base Salary: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year performance bonuses
