Production & Delivery Associate (Part-Time)
Southside Firewood Co. is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our growing team. We're a premium kiln-dried firewood company serving Western North Carolina, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in doing quality work and can work independently.
This is a hands-on position that includes both firewood production and customer deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Split, stack, and package firewood
- Load and unload firewood from our kiln
- Deliver firewood to customers in a company truck
- Keep the yard, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
- Assist with general production and warehouse tasks
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and shows up on time
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Schedule
- Part-time
- Approximately 10–20 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling based on workload
