Accounts Payable Specialist
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities
- Process and verify all incoming accounts receivable payments, including electronic transfers, checks, and credit card transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Manage accounts payable functions by reviewing invoices, obtaining necessary approvals, and processing payments efficiently.
- Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accuracy in account balances, utilizing double-entry bookkeeping principles and performing detailed account analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors or clients to resolve billing discrepancies through effective communication.
- Conduct account reconciliations, analyze financial data for discrepancies, and prepare reports for management review.
- Provide excellent customer service through professional phone etiquette when addressing vendor or client inquiries related to payments or account status.
Schedule: M-F 7am-3:30pm
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, account reconciliation, and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, or similar platforms
- Ability to perform detailed analysis using analysis skills and attention to detail
- Strong math skills along with the ability to perform account analysis efficiently; familiarity with financial software tools enhances productivity.
