Job Overview
As a Financial Process Improvement Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our financial processes and implementing automation solutions that drive efficiency and accuracy. You will lead a dedicated team of finance professionals, collaborating with cross-functional departments to identify opportunities for improvement and lead initiatives that streamline our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Directly manage and mentor finance staff, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Process Optimization: Analyze existing financial processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Automation Strategy: Develop and implement improved processes and automation solutions to enhance financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Systems Integration: Collaborate with IT and finance teams to ensure successful integration of automation tools.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements and automation solutions.
- Change Management: Provide training and support to staff on new systems and processes to ensure high adoption rates.
- Industry Leadership: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial process improvement and automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Management Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, with a proven track record of leading and developing a team.
- Professional Background: 5 years of experience in financial process improvement, automation, or related roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in financial software and automation tools e.g., time management software, inventory management software, POS systems, ERP & financial systems, such as QuickBooks and/or Yardi.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Project Management: Experience managing complex projects is highly preferred.
