Role Description The Sr Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Manassas, VA. This position is responsible for leading concrete construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with general contractors, subcontractors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead continuous improvement initiatives in project delivery.
· Provide strategic guidance for risk management and scheduling.
· Supervise and mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers.
· Partner with estimating to secure projects and develop scopes.
· Build long-term client relationships and strengthen company reputation.
· Represent company leadership in client negotiations.
· Oversee profitability across multiple projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent related experience.
- 7-10 years of progressive project management experience with a construction subcontractor, including significant experience managing concrete construction projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex, or multiple concurrent projects.
- Exceptional leadership, client management, strategic planning, and team development skills.
- Strong understanding of concrete construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontract administration.
