We are a well-established periodontal specialty practice seeking an experienced, friendly, and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. If you enjoy working with people, providing exceptional customer service, and being part of a professional, supportive team, we'd love to meet you.
This position is ideal for someone who has previous dental front office experience and enjoys helping patients feel welcome and cared for from their very first phone call through the completion of their treatment.
What You'll Do
- Welcome patients with professionalism and warmth
- Answer multi-line phones and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule appointments efficiently while optimizing the doctor's schedule
- Verify dental insurance benefits
- Check patients in and out
- Collect co-pays and patient payments
- Coordinate treatment appointments and follow-up visits
- Communicate with referring dental offices
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a dental office
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable using computers and learning practice management software
Preferred
- Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar dental software
- Experience verifying dental insurance benefits
- Periodontal, oral surgery, or other dental specialty experience
