2nd Shift District Lead Custodial

SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The 2nd Shift District Lead performs a wide range of duties, with the main responsibilities being focused on the cleanliness of the facilities and grounds.

Assigned responsibilities and duties:

• Check FMX (District Computer Work Order System).
• Move supplies and Equipment between schools as needed in district supplied vehicles.
• Coordinate with the Custodial Supervisor daily.
• Nightly close out report at end of your shift to the Custodial Supervisor.
• Inspect Custodial Cleaning Staffs sections.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Cover call offs as assigned by the Custodial Supervisor.
• Collect and disperse district custodial laundry to buildings.
• Oversee set up and clean-up of events.

Required Skills / Abilities / Requirements

• Must have a Valid driving license and adhere to District policy.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and adhere to District policy.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to multitask.
• Must be an effective communicator.
• Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to have a keen eye for detail and hold team accountable .
• Must be able to adapt to changing environments as business needs shift.

Education and Experience

• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience working in a custodial and or janitorial role in a high-traffic operation or institution.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the 2nd Shift Lead is required to stand; walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and climb a ladder.
