We’re Hiring a Staff Accountant!
SouthernCarlson is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. This position reports directly to our Controller and plays an essential role in supporting the financial compliance and information reporting needs of the business as well as contributing to profitability through identification and implementation of cost control strategies.

What You’ll Do
- Financial Reporting
- General Ledger and Subsystems
- Bank Reconciliations
- Expense Allocations
- Month End Close Process
- Year End Audit
- Special Projects as Assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or two years of experience in accounting field
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP
- Strong analytical abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer skills and MS Office application including Excel spreadsheet capabilities
- Ability to work independently as well as with members of the accounting team and all other departments.
- Strong ethical and moral beliefs to uphold the company code of ethics and values
