10-Month Faculty Extra Duty Appointment

Duties and Responsibilities: This is a ten (10) month extra duties appointment, in addition to regular faculty responsibilities, with an appointment period of August 1 to May 31. This position will receive a stipend and six (6) hour release time each semester to support the administrative duties of the position. The Director of Professional Education is a faculty member who, in addition to a regular teaching load, provides leadership and coordination for credit and non-credit professional education programs that prepare students for workforce entry, advancement, and credential attainment. The Director works closely with internal and external stakeholders to align programs with industry needs, maintain compliance with applicable accreditation and regulatory requirements, and ensure quality and relevance of curriculum
