9-Month Faculty Extra Duty Appointment

Duties and Responsibilities: This is a nine (9) month extra duties appointment, in addition to regular faculty responsibilities. This position will receive three (3) hour release time each semester to support the administrative duties of the position. The A.A. Degree Program Coordinator for Social Sciences and Humanities is a faculty member who, in addition to regular teaching duties, provides academic leadership and coordination for the Associate of Arts degree and General Education Certificate programs and the faculty in the Social Sciences and Humanities disciplines. The Coordinator works collaboratively with faculty, staff, and administration to ensure high-quality curriculum, effective student advising, student learning outcomes assessment, ensuring program compliance with institutional and accreditation standards, and alignment with transfer pathways to four-year institutions
