JOB REQUIREMENTS: As a Registered Nurse, you will perform direct patient
care for developmentally disabled residents. You will be responsible for
assessing, planning, organizing, administering and evaluating individual
care for residents. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimally qualified applicants will have all of the following: -
Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a registered nurse in the state
of Wisconsin. Eligible is defined as you currently hold licensure in
another state and are eligible to obtain a license in the state of
Wisconsin. Must be licensed in Wisconsin by time of the appointment. -
Knowledge of current general nursing theory, nursing process and nursing
standards. - Ability to work weekends, holidays and occasional overtime
or extra hours. Well-qualified applicants will also have one or more of
the following: - Experience applying nursing techniques to meet the
needs of the developmentally disabled patient population at SWC. -
Experience participating as a member of an interdisciplinary team (e.g.
CNAs, LPNs, other RNs, etc.). - Experience providing effective direction
and overseeing the work of other members of the nursing team. - Ability
