What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Cafeteria Worker position at Southern Wells Com Schools?
JOB GOAL: To prepare and serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness and friendliness.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and cook foods following standardized recipes.
- Assist in the preparation of food portions and prepares serving area.
- Serve foods throughout each meal period.
- Removes used dishes and assists in cleaning of counters, tables and furnishings in dining area.
- Assumes responsibilities that come with cash register.
- Employ sanitation guidelines in washing dishes and equipment.
- Sweep and mop kitchen daily, clean dining tables and chairs.
- Regular, punctual attendance is expected.
- Shall adhere to the School Board policies and procedures.
- Exhibit sanitary standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned by Principal, Food Service Manager or Assistant Manager.
