What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Manager position at Southern Ute Indian Tribe Growth Fund?
Summary
This position is responsible for the environmental oversight of the Southern Ute Growth Fund and its business enterprises to ensure compliance with Tribal, Federal, and State environmental regulations applicable to doing business on and off the Southern Ute Indian Reservation. This position will lead a senior staff of environmental professionals to develop and implement strategic compliance programs and processes.
Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Biological Science, Physical Science, Engineering or related discipline and thirteen years work experience in environmental health and safety, five years of which must be in the oil, gas or energy industry, and five years of which environmental work has been performed.
OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Biological Science, Physical Science, Engineering or related discipline and fifteen years work experience in environmental health and safety, six years of which must be in the oil, gas or energy industry, and six years of which environmental work has been performed.
- Must have five years supervisory experience.
