Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance services, including oil changes and tire services, while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and fluid level checks in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct tire rotations and balance tires as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding vehicle maintenance and services offered.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose basic issues and recommend appropriate services or repairs.
- Collaborate with service technicians to complete more complex repairs as necessary.
- Uphold dealership standards for quality of work and customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Lube Technician or in a similar automotive service role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during service tasks.
- Knowledge of diagnostics is a plus, but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Familiarity with tire service operations is advantageous.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in service are a plus.
