What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recreational and Tot Gymnastics Coach position at Southern Tier Gymnastics And Cheer LLC?
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated gymnastics coaches to join our team for Recreational and Tot classes at our fast-growing, well-established gymnastics club.
Applicants must pass a national background check and hold a current USA Gymnastics membership, or be willing to obtain one upon hire. Ideal candidates are passionate about working with children and committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coach and train USAG Developmental Program athletes
- Plan and run safe, effective, and engaging practices
- Follow individualized training plans focused on skill progression, consistency, and confidence
- Emphasize proper technique, strength, flexibility, and injury prevention
- Maintain clear communication with athletes, parents, and staff
- Uphold the values, standards, and culture of Southern Tier Gymnastics
Qualifications:
- Previous experience coaching women’s DP
- Strong technical knowledge of all four events
- USAG Professional Membership or willingness to obtain
- Reliable, positive, and professional attitude
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Schedule and Compensation:
- Part-time, approximately 10 hours per week
- Evenings and Saturday Mornings
