We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead concrete crews on commercial and heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in concrete construction, a commitment to safety, and the ability to manage crews while delivering high-quality work on schedule.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Concrete Foreman or in a supervisory concrete construction role.
- Experience with commercial, roadway, sidewalk, curb, gutter, ADA ramps, and structural concrete work.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience coordinating daily crew activities, equipment, and materials.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding work.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead concrete crews on multiple job sites.
- Plan daily work activities to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Read blueprints and ensure work is completed according to project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and inspectors.
- Monitor quality control and ensure work meets company and customer standards.
- Enforce company safety policies and conduct daily safety meetings.
- Manage crew productivity, equipment usage, and material needs.
- Complete daily reports and maintain accurate job documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Experience with FDOT or municipal concrete projects is preferred.
