Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and entry points
- Apply chemical agents safely and accurately using proper pest control chemical handling procedures
- Implement integrated pest management strategies tailored to each client’s needs, emphasizing environmentally friendly solutions
- Operate company vehicles and power tools responsibly while maintaining compliance with driving and ladder safety procedures
- Use ladders and hand tools effectively for access to hard-to-reach areas during treatment applications
- Maintain detailed records of pesticide applications, chemical inventory, and service reports in accordance with regulatory standards
- Educate clients on pest prevention techniques, safety protocols, and ongoing maintenance plans
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Pest Control Operator with comprehensive knowledge of pesticide management and application techniques
- Proven experience in pest control, entomology, or related outdoor work such as farming, landscaping, or agriculture
- Strong mechanical knowledge of farm machinery, power tools, hand tools, and ladder use for various treatment scenarios
- Familiarity with confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection equipment to ensure safe working conditions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly and adhere to all safety protocols during outdoor work activities
- Knowledge of lawn care practices and experience with land management is a plus
