What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Burn Table Operator position at Southern Response Services?
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Burn Table Operation (Required)
· Independently operate CNC burn tables from startup to production
· Power up the table, load existing programs, verify nests, and begin cutting without assistance
· Set torch heights, check consumables, and confirm cut parameters
· Load material using forklift and overhead crane
· Verify parts against drawings and nesting layouts
· Mark, etch, and organize burned parts for fabrication
· Perform basic troubleshooting and recognize cut-quality issues
· Maintain clean cutting areas and assist with routine table maintenance
Rolling Equipment Operation
· Operate 4-roll plate rolling machines
o Roll thin plate through heavy plate up to 1-1/2” thick x 10’ wide
o Experience rolling:
§ Shell plate for storage tanks
§ Vessel cans
§ Manway necks
§ Similar heavy fabrication components
· Operate 3-roll pipe rollers
o Roll pipe from approximately 1” diameter up to 4’ diameter
· Operate 3-roll angle rollers
o Roll angle leg in or leg out
o Roll angles from 1” x 1” up to 5” x 5”
Additional Equipment
· Safely operate forklifts
· Safely operate overhead cranes
· Press brake experience is a plus
Fabrication Support (Preferred)
· Basic fitting and tack welding ability is preferred (not required)

Experience Requirements
· 5–10 years of relevant plate cutting and rolling experience preferred
· Must be capable of working independently with little supervision
· Must have prior experience cutting and rolling:
o Carbon steel and/or stainless steel
Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
