Banquet Server

Overview

We are seeking dedicated and professional Banquet Servers to join our team for a one day event Thursday October 22nd. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service during events, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The Banquet Server plays a vital part in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, delivering seamless service from start to finish. This position offers an engaging environment where attention to detail and excellent customer service are essential.

Duties

• Assist with the setup of banquet event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and tableware according to event specifications.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously to guests during events.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and friendliness.
• Break down and clean up after events, including clearing tables, packing up supplies, and restoring the venue to its original condition.
• Collaborate with event staff and management to ensure smooth operation of each event.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas before, during, and after events.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards throughout all duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed for events.
• Strong teamwork skills and a professional appearance.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and carry out physical tasks involved in setup and breakdown activities.
