Front Desk Agent - Monte Vista Boutique Hotel - Black Mountain - $500 Signing Bonus!
 
Pay rate: $15/hr. with a signing bonus* of $500!   
*bonus is eligible after 60 days

What It's Like Working With Us

Milton's Black Mountain is an extension of Milton's Cuisine & Cocktails in Alpharetta, GA location and is nestled in The Monte Vista Hotel. Our Chef has prepared a menu that introduces contemporary Southern flavors to our guests. What You'll Be Doing
Responsible for assisting in the front office reception and administrative duties. Duties include:
  • Answering phones for hotel/restaurant and responding accordingly to guests' needs.
  • Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable, offering beverages, assisting with luggage as needed.
  • Issue rook key(s) and present hotel specific information to guests.
  • Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
  • Make and confirm reservations.
  • Monitoring continental breakfast and replenishing as needed.
  • Post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone, to folio.
  • Compute bills, collect payments, and makes change for guests, verify that the correct charges and credits are posted to the corresponding guest folio.
  • Ensure that all case and cash equivalents are accounted for and balance at the beginning and end of each work shift.
  • Take and relay messages.
  • Work closely with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
  • Provide administrative, reception, and program support to management and staff.
  • Perform any other job duties and/or special projects as assigned by management.

  • Must be able to operate the locations Property Management System, Property Point of Sales System (where applicable), Microsoft Office, and the internet.
