Milton's Black Mountain is an extension of Milton's Cuisine & Cocktails in Alpharetta, GA location and is nestled in The Monte Vista Hotel. Our Chef has prepared a menu that introduces contemporary Southern flavors to our guests. Come join the Milton's team and be a part of our tight-knit community as we serve the locals and tourists of Black Mountain.
- Answering phones for hotel/restaurant and responding accordingly to guests' needs.
- Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable, offering beverages, assisting with luggage as needed.
- Issue rook key(s) and present hotel specific information to guests.
- Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
- Make and confirm reservations.
- Monitoring continental breakfast and replenishing as needed.
- Post charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone, to folio.
- Compute bills, collect payments, and makes change for guests, verify that the correct charges and credits are posted to the corresponding guest folio.
- Ensure that all case and cash equivalents are accounted for and balance at the beginning and end of each work shift.
- Take and relay messages.
- Work closely with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Provide administrative, reception, and program support to management and staff.
- Perform any other job duties and/or special projects as assigned by management.

- Must be able to operate the locations Property Management System, Property Point of Sales System (where applicable), Microsoft Office, and the internet.
