LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Dayshift

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including outpatient clinics, assisted living facilities, and inpatient units. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations and assess patient health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Perform triage duties to prioritize patient care based on urgency.
• Assist with family planning education and counseling.
• Provide care for patients requiring tube feeding and gastric lavage.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Support patients in assisted living environments, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient settings is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of physiology and nursing principles is essential.
• Familiarity with both inpatient and outpatient care practices is a plus.
• Experience in performing triage, physical examinations, tube feeding, and gastric lavage will be highly regarded.
• A valid LPN license is required to practice in the state.

Pay: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour
