The opportunity
Join Southern New Hampshire University's Global Visiting Faculty program to deliver impactful education at Vietnam National University. You will report to the Director of International Online Programs and support the Master of Science in Teaching English as a Foreign Language program through a dynamic, in-person teaching experience. We provide travel and accommodation support, and one needs to make oneself available to travel to Vietnam for a one-month stay starting Fall 2026.
We are hiring for the following courses:
- EFL523 - Listening and Speaking Techniques
- EFL525 - Reading and Writing Techniques
- EFL527 - Strategies/Techniques for Teaching Grammar
- EFL537 - Computer-Assisted Language Learning
- EFL599 - Supervised Practice Teaching
What You'll do:
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain regular office hours for student consultations.
- Submit reports and documentation to program administration.
- Collaborate with the Senior Associate Dean of Global Initiatives to ensure program success.
What we're Looking For:
- Ability to travel to Vietnam for, up to, a one-month stay.
- PhD in TESOL or TEFL, Applied Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of college-level teaching experience with TESOL or TEFL.
- Fluency in English
The compensation range listed below is our pay for our standard adjunct positions. Due to the specialized nature of this particular role the pay will be $3,900 per course.

Compensation
The standard compensation for courses is $2,800 - $3,400 per 16-week undergraduate or graduate course. Actual pay is determined at the time of course assignment based on discipline.Exceptional benefits (because you're exceptional)
