Southern Maryland Towing, Inc is a small business in Leonardtown, MD.
Expanding towing company in Southern Maryland has an immediate opening for additional dispatchers/administrative staff with emphasis on the dispatching. Must have effective communication and customer service skills. Must be a team player with ability to motivate others. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to deal with conflict resolution. Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records and capability of operating relevant computer systems. Must be a self-starter with excellent work ethic and a positive attitude.
Previous dispatch experience is required, but the company is willing to train an entry level individual with the right qualifications. Hours will consist of mainly evenings, overnight, weekends and some holidays.
Duties include scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, vehicles, or equipment to appropriate locations, respond to customer requests or immediate needs using company provided dispatching software. Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services performed, inventory records and other information.
Answering phones and/or speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for services or equipment.
Clean background required, college education a plus!

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
