Summary

We are seeking a skilled remodeling project manager to join our team at Southern Maine Remodeling. In this role, you will be responsible for executing remodeling projects that enhance the quality and value of our properties. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of providing exceptional living environments for our homeowners.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
  • Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project aligned with their goals.
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
  • Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.
  • Scheduling subcontractors – forward thinking.
  • Daily communication with customers.
  • Daily budget reviews.
  • Creating the books for the field – ensure detail and review for accuracy.
  • Verifying invoices.
  • Capturing change orders in Yardi.
  • Holding the team accountable – scheduling/hours/etc.

Remodeling Project Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of construction projects from start to finish. Their responsibilities include:

  • Planning and scheduling

Plan, schedule, and organize the project to meet the budget, specifications, and schedule

  • Overseeing day-to-day activities

Oversee the day-to-day activities of the construction site, including the work of subcontractors and subordinate staff

  • Ensuring quality

Ensure that the project meets quality standards

  • Managing safety

Conduct safety meetings and ensure the safety of the project and all personnel

  • Communicating

Communicate with clients, customers, and visitors, and attend production meetings

  • Documenting

Prepare progress reports and daily logs, and issue progress schedules to clients

  • Ordering materials

Place orders for materials needed on the site

  • Using technology

Use construction management software to help with resource management, workforce planning, scheduling, and budget tracking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
