Sales and Design Coordinator

Position Summary

The Sales and Design Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the office team, construction team, homebuyer and vendors for all activities related to the design and build of a new home.

Essential Functions

• Streamline the design process.
• Ensure selection packages remain up to date and installed per standards.
• Improve and create new base spec packages.
• Manage the specification packages for the different communities and projects.
• Manage changes to the selections during construction.
• Assist in coordinating sales changes and contracts with sales, vendors, and the construction team.
• Assist the agents’ inquiries about possible selections/changes on the homes under construction.
• Ensure sales collateral is correct prior to releasing for sale.
• Manage and assist with customers on presales and homes under construction.
• Create a customer experience program.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including ability to create/manage Excel formulas and Word contract documents utilizing object link embedding.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with flexibility to navigate rapidly changing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and telephone skills, and the ability to deal professionally with sales prospects and co-workers on the phone and in person.
• Ability to keep sensitive information highly confidential.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work and complete tasks both collaboratively and independently, asking for clarification when necessary.
• Ability to work under pressure, as well as the ability to deal with frequent interruptions, background noise.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in homebuilding and/or design
