Role And Responsibilities
- Serve as the welcoming face of the office by greeting employees and guests with professionalism and ease
- Manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls efficiently and courteously
- Maintain meeting room calendars and ensure shared spaces are consistently clean, stocked, and ready
- Oversee daily office operations including mail, deliveries, and supply inventory
- Coordinate office logistics such as access cards, parking passes, nameplates, and onboarding/offboarding details
- Place and manage recurring orders (office supplies, kitchen, etc.) with an eye for organization and efficiency
- Support internal events (monthly celebrations, team gatherings) and assist with light coordination and setup
- Maintain company directories and updates within SharePoint
- Prepare and submit expense reports via TravelBank
- Assist with occasional administrative needs such as coordinating candidate travel
- Other duties as assigned
- 3 years of receptionist or administrative experience in a professional environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and basic administrative systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bonus: Experience with Canva or creating simple event materials
- You enjoy a structured, predictable workday and take pride in maintaining the quality and details of the Southern Land Company brand
- You are highly organized and naturally notice when something is out of place
- You are dependable, and people trust that you will handle things without needing to be asked twice
- You are calm and professional, even when the day brings interruptions or shifting priorities
- You value a role where you can be fully present during the workday and leave work at work
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of receptionist and/or administrative experience in a professional office
